Energy Overview

My professional work experience has been in the power generation industry:

mechanical designing of solar grid-tied inverters
mechanical analysis of gas insulated switch-gear (GIS) insulators. GIS is used for compact and reliable transmission of high-voltage electricity on the power grid. It does not matter how the electricity is produced, i.e., any power plant generating high-voltage (>50 kV) can use GIS.
